<p>I began my career in the arts as a short story writer, but was soon seduced by the theater.  I trained as an actor and moved to New York, where I found myself writing again, first as a writer/performer, and then as a playwright.    </p>

I have written over a dozen plays which have been produced at the New York Fringe Festival and in Los Angeles.  I have performed my one man shows at Dixon Place, One Dream Theater, the Kimball Studio, and Here Theater.    </p>

THE MANUFACTURED FAMILY, my first novel, is a continuation of my exploration and fascination with the peculiar workings of family; I myself have six parents, one sister, one half sister, one step-sister, two step brothers, and I am adopted to boot.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
I also have busy hands; I am a self taught master carpenter and metalworker, and I own a fabrication company that builds theater scenery and large scale art installations.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>
I keep a foot in the theater by acting in the occasional play.</p>
