<p>Randall Brown is the author of the award-winning collection <em>Mad to Live</em>, his essay on (very) short fiction appears in <em>The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction</em>, and he appears in the N<em>orton Anthology of Hint Fiction</em>. He blogs regularly at FlashFiction.Net and has been published and anthologized widely, both online and in print. He’s been a finalist or place-winner in a number of contests, including <em>Tin House’s</em> Master Plotto Contest, <em>Alligator Juniper’s</em> National Writing Contest, <em>Press 53’s</em> Flash Fiction Contest, and <em>Glimmer Train’s</em> Short Fiction Contest; work has been nominated for O’Henry, Best of the Web, Million Writers, and eleven Pushcart awards. He is also the founder and managing editor of Matter Press and its <em>Journal of Compressed Creative Arts.</em> He received his MFA from Vermont College and teaches in Rosemont College’s MFA in Creative Writing Program.</p>
